The b-Cause Foundation is a 501(c)(3) pending organization which strives to provide grants and services with the intent of improving the lives of youth in the Connecticut.
Objectives:
- To educate children to recognize neighbors in need in our local community and to provide service opportunities for children to help children and families.
- To seed small grass root organizations for fundraising opportunities
- To provide opportunities within standing events for individual or groups to raise money for charitable causes in compliance with b-cause guidelines
- To educate children on the value of philanthropy and encourage creativity and initiative for children to become involved in their community.
Grant Guidlines
- b-Cause makes grants to programs/individuals that meet the criteria of our mission and have demonstrated hardship.
- b-Cause grants to agencies with a 501(c)(3) exemption from the Internal Revenue Service and to individuals in need.
- b-Cause grants to agencies that serve people without regard to race, creed, national origin, age, gender, sexual preference or disability.
- b-Cause funds programs which provide: Educational Opportunities for Children, Aid to Children, Aid to Families at Risk, Aid to Child Community Health Services and Aid to the Homeless families.
- b-Cause grants in the greater Fairfield county area
- b-Cause funds programs run by established agencies and by small grass-roots organizations.
- b-Cause funds agencies that provide comprehensive services to address the range of needs of the population served.
- b-Cause grants to agencies that raise funds independently and efficiently.
- b-Cause will grant funds for the purpose of fundraising for additional money.
- The Projects Review Committee annually reviews these policies. The Board of b-Cause Foundation Inc must endorse any recommended revisions.
